Miss Tami was born and raised in the Meridian area. After graduating from Meridian High School, she married Jamison, now her husband of more than 33 years.
In 1989 they purchased the property and buildings at 1031 North Main Street, with the idea of remodeling it into a two-room Gift Shoppe, while living in the remainder of the house with their two school-aged sons.
In 1993 it was apparent that the Gift Shoppe was growing too large for just the two rooms it was occupying, so Miss Tami and her men moved out to make room for what would eventually become a full service restaurant, tearoom and gift shoppe.
Beginning in the late Summer of 1993 Miss Tami began serving just tea and desserts. After some time, patrons began to request sandwiches with their tea, and in early 1994 Miss Tami began offering a few sandwiches and salads.
Over the years many things have changed, but one thing remains: Miss Tami and her commitment to an exceptional experience and superior guest service.
